The 1911 census has him in b Leeds 1905. There is also a Clarence b in 1905 Leeds on FreeBMD.

Unfortunately I do not have access to Ancestry or Find my past to look at the details to see if it is correct or not.

Now look for the family in 1901

You should have looked for Clarence in 1911..not his father

Clarence Shaw was born abt 1905 ?Leeds. He married Alice Rushworth on the 11/09/1926. The cert said his fathers name was George and that he was deceased. George was a Hay/ stray dealer.

I can't find a George on the 1911 census so I guess he died before this date. There were two George's on the 1911 census but I think they were probably too young.

Please can anyone help me track him down and also tell me what Clarence's mothers name was.
