No problem Jen. I have traced William down to present day descendants who live in the Cumbrian town of Millom, which is where I spent my childhood years. I would be interested in any info on Mary following her marriage o Peter Cundy as I can only find them in the 1851 Census.

Thank-you Bryan for correcting me, you are quite right, on checking my records I find I had written the dates wrongly above.
Can you please tell me how you got the hamlet town of Albaston? I only saw Tavistock which I now find is close by.

William Boundy, son of William and Mary, was baptised at the Methodist Chapel in Albaston on January 14, 1821

I have spent a lot of time searching the Cornwall parish registers and have seen most of the ones posted and a couple of others are certainly worth looking at further ie William Cundy death 1828, but it is good to have fresh eyes looking at it as after a few years it is so easy to get bogged down and perhaps not see new things that could be relevant.
Will do this over the next few days.
For the William and Jane Boundy deaths 1830 makes me wonder what sickness was going around at that time for the two of them to die so close together?
Did miners move around much then for work or did they mainly stick to their home areas I wonder, I know times were hard then especially later on when in the 1840's the Cundy family went to Australia for work

1782 b. St. Agnes, parents John & Dinah
1789 Landulph, mother Mary (illegitimate)

what you found is what I had found also and discounted because of the age 84 (still possible though) and 1825 too early I think with last son born 1827.
Peter CUNDY's wife had died 1829, had wondered if maybe Mary Ann BOUNDY was a widow as of 1825, was housekeeper for them etc but why then wait so long to marry in 1832. Have thought out so many possibilities, if William died say in Devon or some-where on the border region of Calstock area how did Mary Ann come to be a widow of St Agnes residing St Blazey. Of course his death name may have been recorded incorrectly.
To perhaps find where he was born etc might help, just seem to be going in circles.

The one who died in 1830 was 84
