Find Ancestors

My maternal grandfather married Emmie Maud Bowers in Liverpool.

He was a merchant seaman and I believe he was born in Dundee in 1876. He died in Liverpool in 1950.

I know nothing about his ancestors.

It would be a good idea to buy a copy of the marriage cert to find out if he knew his father. HIs name is probably too common to be able to identify him without additional info

The marriage certificate as suggested by Jacqueline should hopefully confirm his father's name and occupation. I have the above census from FMP but it is only the transcription.
