Who was the informant on her hubbies death cert .

You're probably right Dea, I looked for an Annie Sharp first but didn't see anything 'obvious' , apart from this one in Shropshire, though she could well have moved away ( or not remarried at all)

Why would she remarry using her maiden name ?

Not impossible but I would have thought that if she was widowed she would have used the married name she had at the time, i.e. Sharp?
