I have been given information from Dizzi.........

ELLENBROOK, (St Mary the Virgin) a chapelry. So.........the Mother was not Ellin Brook!! ..........Ooops!! :-D

If the baptism record reads....daughter of Thos Gee and Ellin Brook it would lead me to believe that the parents were not married at the time.

The IGI has a submitted record of a Thomas Gee born about 1638 in Eccles and it has him marrying in Manchester on 17th February 1662 to a Margery Key or Kaye.

I don't know how reliable this information is or indeed it it is the Thomas Gee you are looking for.

Looking at the image......it looks like daughter of Thos Gee and Ellin Brook.

It is not very clear so just off to double check...................
