You're welcome Barry, although you have still not given us any idea what you were looking for ... but hopefully this will help you trace the line if that is what you want to do.

for future reference, it is best not to use the 'marked as answered' button

what it means is that your entire thread has been completed and you no longer need any assistance ... it is not meant to show that you have answered a particular question in the thread (which you didn't ...)

once the 'tick' appears on your thread in the forum list, people will no longer look at it as it is shown as not needing any more help

in this case that seems to be true, but usually it is not :-)

I believe Barry's mother was a Haley but not finding an obvious marriage for her parents, so can't connect to these Haleys

I wonder what Barry wants to know, and whether he might acknowledge replies

Why are you asking about these people?

You can't have plucked their names etc out of nowhere...............what is your connection?

JoonieCloonie

JoonieCloonie Report 7 Feb 2015 22:30

and that's all you have to add?

no information about these two people ... when they were born, who they married, who their children were ...

safc found

Joseph Haley Head Married Male 58 1853 Bradford Yorks Retired Woolsorter

at 73 Killinghall

if this was something you already knew, could you have told us his age and wife's and children's names?

is he related to Charles Haley somehow?

If you do know all about them, and it is the Bradford council info you are looking for, contacting Bradford Council does seem to be the wise option :-)

but it sounded like you were looking for other information about them ...........

Barry

Barry Report 7 Feb 2015 21:57

JoonieCloonie

JoonieCloonie Report 7 Feb 2015 21:46

Maria Haley 73
Arthur Ernest William Haley 43
Annie Elizabeth Swaine 46

are you sure that 359 was the correct address at death or could that be a misreading?

JoonieCloonie

JoonieCloonie Report 7 Feb 2015 21:42

you do know something about them or you would not be looking for information about them!

names of their wives, their children, their parents ...

if one of them is your actual ancestor (it could only be one unless they were father and son) you must know lots that nobody here knows - and that people need in order to search effectively

there is also the question of what you actually want to find out, which you have not said ... no point in people finding you things you already know!

you've used the boards before, so you know how it goes :-)
