Do you know for sure that Robert did not die before 1946?

If you don't know, can you give us their years of birth? and it will help determine that ... also his full middle name if you know.

Divorce was the exception rather than the norm for ordinary people at the time, but remarrying without divorcing was a little unusual, although not unheard of :-)

Im having trouble finding a divorce for the above two who married in 1923.

Mary (or Jane) married again in 1946 to William Moore.

Would it be usual in those days not to divorce ?
