The original of the document Yvonne refers to says John and Mary Jones. John Jones is a wheelwright.
Heaven knows where Hughes came from :-S

Back at the library helping a lady with her family tree but we have become stuck.

John Roberts 1824 Wales possibly Abergele, married a lady by the name of Susannah and had the following children...Kesiah 1847, Thomas 1853 and Ann Roberts 181/55?... Seeking the surname of Susannah who married John Roberts.
