i just wanted to know when the children were put in the home and when they came out also the death of patrick mckeon has rosina married again in 1879 and said she was a widow

Re the suggestion of looking at their daughter Mary Jane's birth cert for details of Patrick and Rosa's marriage, given in your other thread -

I've had a look at Mary Jane's birth cert. It definitely says Patrick and Rosa married in Malta on 24th July 1865.

Here's their marriage:
1865-07-24 MCKACON Patrizio ARENA Rosa (Parish of) Vittoriosa

I don't know how you would go about getting a copy of the record.

ADDED: I can't see her baptism on that site.

EDIT (22/12 14) : Yvonne's other thread has unfortunately been deleted today, with quite a lot of information re Patrick and Rosa's children.

not sure myself the patrick mckeone who married mary i was not sure if he was the same patrick that married rosina as i could not find a death for him and rosina put her children in the home and then married john elley in 1879 could she have still been married to patrick when she married john elley

Yvonne...I am getting rather confused here...Maybe I have missed something but how does Rose McKeon (who married John Elley ) relate to Patrick McKeon and Mary Gimenez.???


Right have sorted it I think....the children in the orphanage were those of Patrick McKeon and Rosina Arena..so are we looking at different families ???

yes that is my thread i found a death in 1877 for patrick mckeown in liverpool where the patrick im looking for was living in 1841 cenus and where ellen who is in the childrens home was born i think ellen whent to live with his brother after coming out of the orphanage they did spell the name mckeon different ways so it could be his death in 1877 also rose when she married in 1879 says she is a widow i have the cert.

The only way to get info about the man's age and marital status is to spend £9.25 on a copy cert

yes thats the mother mary a was my granmother just want to find out if what happened to their father and yes that was my other thread not the same family but a bit curios of the husband patrick mckeone who married mary thats why i wanted to find out if he was single or widowed when he married and his age to see if he was the patrick i am trying to find out if he died before rose married again

i wonder if i can find information on when and why these children were placed in a childrens home in 1881 census there are four mckeon children this is the address

they were not orphans their mother married again in 1879 their father was discharged from army in aldershot 1877 cannot find when he died between 1877 and 1879 if you could help thank you
