The Queensland and NSW records are free to search at the official govt sites - I've added the NSW link above now too - but for the actual certificates you have to order them (or pay a transcription service, for about half the price of a certificate).

Just the free search results will give you the info I've listed in the cases above (parents of the deceased, spouse's name for a marriage, parents for a birth but births are not accessible for the last 100 years).

Also the sites that Cherilyn linked to are free to search ... Cherilyn is an Oz expert!

A Hannah HAINSWORTH arrived in Qld in 1912 aged 44 aboard Chemnitz. Might be the mother. She is shown as married, a housewife, from Northumberland. Travelled alone.

Rachel & Walter had another daughter named Laverna Hannah, b. 1915.

Rachel's funeral notices: http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article20160634

Not a care to mark your brow ;

You are happy resting now.

but here they are on the 1919 electoral roll in Brisbane South

May Villa, West End
Hannah Jane, sen, home duties
Hannah Jane, jun, shop assistant

but

204 Boundary St, West End
John Henry, painter

that was the occupation shown for him on the passenger list

perhaps he was just working away - John Henry and Hannah Jane are together in South Sydney in 1930 ... assuming that is mother Hannah; ages are not shown

in 1913 Rachel is in Brisbane North, a bookkeeper

John Henry Hainsworth died in 1945 in Drummoyne NSW, parents Jonath and Rachel

https://familyhistory.bdm.nsw.gov.au/lifelink/familyhistory/search?0

but I don't see a death for Hannah

for QLD
https://www.qld.gov.au/law/births-deaths-marriages-and-divorces/family-history-research/

Rachel Parkinson Hainsworth married Walter Addison Chadwick 1913

Rachel Parkinson Chadwick, parents John Henry Hainsworth and Hannah Jane Browell, died 1917 in Brisbane, how sad

... and sadder ... Sarah Ann Chadwick daughter of Rachel and Water died in 1917 ... perhaps Rachel died in childbirth; this was a year too early for the influenza epidemic

Hannah Jane Hainsworth, parents Joseph Browell and Hannah Jane Martin, died 1955

Hannah Jane Martin Hainsworth, parents John Henry Hainsworth and Hannah Jane Brewel, died 1965

Hannah is 19 and Rachel is 21, so no sign of mother Hannah.

A Sam and Sarah Hainsworth also travelled Liverpool to Brisbane in 1911, him an engineer.

Hello.
I have Just found details of members of my Hainsworth family had emigrated to Australia in 1911..I need to know who they travelled with as I have found two members of the family had travelled on different vessels, that is if I have read it Correctly...

This is what I found!

John Henry Hainsworth, born 1868 age 43yrs...Departure year 1911..Ship; Geelong
Departure; London...Destination port; Sydney Australia.

the other;

Hannah Hainsworth; born 1892. age 19yrs.. Departure year 1911
Ship;.Rippingham Grange..Departure port..London.
Destination; Brisbane..State Queensland.Australia...Single..Occ; Domestic Servant.
ShipMaster Surname; LAY.

I would like to know if there was anyone else travelling with the above people called
either Rachel Hainsworth born 1890. and Hannah J Hainsworth born 1868 as these are Wife and Daughter of the above ?

I don`t have any credit left to be able to look at the originals!

Most Grateful
Linda x
