http://www.kent-opc.org/Parishes/Sheppey%20Sheerness.html

Your Online Parish Clerk for Sheerness, Isle of Sheppey is: VACANT.

Sheerness, Isle of Sheppey is, ecclesiastically, in the diocese of Canterbury, in the archdeaconry of Canterbury and in the deanery of Sittingbourne. There is no ancient church. There is a chapel with registers commencing 1836.

Doesn't answer the question, but in 1841 the family is in Eagle Street, St. George the Martyr, Middlesex, consisting of
Samuell 30 - not born in county Occupation is not brazier, maybe turner.
Francis 35
Samuell 14
Francis 12
Harriet 10
Alfred 7
Julia 1

Wife and children all born in county, Samuel jr, before the marriage?

Andrew

Andrew Report 14 Jan 2015 20:34

I think the occupation in 1841 is Tinman

hi
i cannot find frances perkins after the 1841 census could she have died

BeverleyW

BeverleyW Report 15 Jan 2015 19:41

In 1851 she is undoubtedly the wife mis-transcribed as Thomas Perkins as posted by Andrew and safc above.

BeverleyW

BeverleyW Report 15 Jan 2015 19:53

I think this is Samuel Sr.'s death:

Name: Samuel Perkins
Gender: Male
Burial Date: 10 Oct 1852
Burial Place: St. Andrew'S, Holborn, Middlesex, England
Age: 49
Birth Date: 1803
residence: Ely Court

(note in 1851 they are in Eagle Court - Eagle/Ely easy to confuse)
