Would say it because he may be known as either surname as his parents have used both names |

I was trying a bit of detective work to find the Baptism of a Palmer ancestor and going through the baptism records I find two entries for the same person.. now I am confused ! The first entry has John Palmer baptised 7th Feb 1773, Parents noted as John and Margot Palmer... The notes have Trainor Alias Palmer. |
