Can anyone please help me find how my GGGrandfather Walter Smith came to Australia in 1870's. He is on the 1861 census, but not the 1871 one, was married in Adelaide South Australia in Feb 1881. Where was he between 1861 & 1881? His parents were Charles Smith & Maria Dearling |
