	Yes, Stuart, what Alviegal suggests is absolutely possible, and did occasionally happen. In my own tree, there is a child listed twice - once with her parents and siblings, and again with her grandparents. I assume she was spending the night with her grandparents, but her parents listed her at her home address anyway.
	Researching: Old genealogists never die.....they just lose their census.

Name: Jane Gordon Or Paterson Gender: Female Birth Date: 13 Jan 1863 Birth Place: Enzie,Banff,Scotland Father: Donald Gordon Mother: Jane Paterson FHL Film Number: 6035516 Jane Gordon married a James Bain and I have her death certificate in 1920 stating her father was Donald Gordon (dec) and her mother, Jane Paterson had then married Alexander Gatherer, who was also deceased. This would most possibly be the Jane Gatherer in the 1881 Huntly census.
