Are there any British (or Aussie) SPENCERs out there today, who come down from Spencers in Bedfordshire, further back? Such, as: Daniel Spencer lived c.1600-1660 was successful London grocer---who died owning many properties, including the 'Red Lion Inn' in Hitchin' (hertfordshire). Or his uncle, Richard Spencer c.1575-1630-ish, who was a haberdasher w/ his own shop along London Bridge, in London.
Any SPENCER who has Bedfordshire roots back further than 1800, please contact me!
If you descend from any of the above and possess Spencer surname still today(or was maiden name) PLEASE contact me,as i have much Spencer info (of these families) to share----lineage charts/Old Spencer photos/ bible page info/ family history,etc.,etc. Desperately seeking my British (blood) SPENCER cousins!!!

Have you checked in search trees?

At least one person apart from you has GERARD 1575 in his tree

Hello Vienna,

There are many members on the Ancestry website who have Spencers from Bedfordshire in their family trees. Have you tried there?

Hi, Vienna,my brother in law is a Spencer,,direct line to boat builders in Deptford London then moved to Essex side ? Any help Graham Chambers N.Z
