Firstly, apologies for asking for info. on John Winzer, instead of George Winzer, previously-trying to trace him has obviously affected the grey matter! George is the son of John and Emma Winzer(variously spelt Wincer, Winser, Winsor, Winsper, whisper). 1871/1881 census, George is in Penkridge , firstly with his parents and siblings and latterly with his mother and siblings. The 1891 census finds him in Merridale Street, Wolverhampton lodging with Jane Jones and son Albert. He is a house painter. After that, he vanishes for the next two censuses, but his death is registered in Cannock, Staffs (not far from Penkridge) in 1923. Have checked gaols, emigration-no luck.-can't find him
