Hello Jacqueline thanks for your comments and guidance. I always use search trees but never get many replies dozen upon dozens of messages unopened and just thought I would try this approach. Not wanting people to do the searching just hoping somewhere out there is researching Richard Watson's tree.
So as you probably know yourself searching trees leads to many disappointments as people do not reply hence dozens of unopened messages!!!
But I do appreciate all members feedback!! Nowt like telling the truth!!!

A quick google produced a lot of info including a commemorative stained glass window, the name of one of his granddaughters and the name of his famous poem.

BRIEF SKETCH OF THE AUTHOR.

RiCHABD Watson is the son of the late William Watson,
who was a miner in the employment of the London Lead
Company. He was bom March 16th, 1833, at Middleton-
in-Teesdale. At the age of six he was sent to the Com-
pany's school, — erected at that place for the education of
their workmen's children, — where, under the tuition of
.Mr. John.Hyslop, the schoolmaster, he received a tolerable
education. His father, who was then stmggling to
maintain a large family, could not afford to let him
remain long at school, so at the age of ten he went to
labour at the mines, where he has been ever since.

Do you have any dates?

And how much research have you done so far?

As your friend is aware of the exact relationship, the line between them must be known
