Could someone look for William f Adcock on the 1951/52 electoral register please his wife would have been Doris Adcock They were living in the East end of london. Thank you.

Living with Doris at 20 Cordova Road Bethnal Green in 1954

Same address in 1957 to 1965

The same in 1950!
Added - in 1951 there is a Thelmar Manns also at the address. She has Y before her name. Not sure what that means

The qualifying date for the 1951 listing was 20 Nov 1951
Y means that the person was entitled to vote only at elections held after 1 Oct 1952.

It could be that they were going to be 21 in the year 1951-1952 and as such needed to be listed. We still have something similar on the forms we fill in, if one of our children will come to the age of majority (18) within the next 12 months.

Sorry - typing while you posted.

No - there are no occupations on the ER. The closest it gets is a notation if they were service men away from home.
