Although, as SylviaInCanada points out, ages etc in transcriptions are not always correct.
Albert Higgins1868 is in transcriptions of his family. Mary Ann Higgins being the first born in 1854, and the only one recorded with a second christian name!!!
Henry Higgins b1836.
Hannah Higgins (Nee Kingstone) b1837.
Mary Ann Higgins b1854. (Mother Hannah aged 17!!!)
Henry Higgins b1856.
William Higgins b1859.
George Higgins b1861.
Albert Higgins b1868. (Middle name Harry nowhere in any census).
Florry Higgins b1877.
Alfred Higgins b1880. (Mother Hannah aged 43!!!).
All above born in Marlow.

Nowhere in transcriptions (apart from his suggested marriage to Eliza Wright) does it mention his second christian name (Harry). Hence my confusion with the other Albert (1864 or 1867 also mentioned as born in Marlow about the same time) who married Jessie Louise Norsworthy in Eton.

Thanks Sylvia and Beejay (who have helped me so much in the past) with the wrong birth place for Albert in the 1901 census and putting them married in Marlow in 1898, with his older brother William as a witness. Father Henry 1837 dying in 1888. Also finding Albert and Eliza in the 1901 and 1911 census'.

No wonder I could not find Albert and Eliza after their marriage.......and no children. I guess this is the right Albert!!!

What remains is the question about the other Albert. Was he mistranscribed as being born in Marlow.

Jacqueline, Mary Ann being a sister to Albert in the 1871 census I posted above fits with the marriage record for Albert Harry (father being Henry) - in both those censuses I posted Henry is a brewer's labourer.

I have spent hours trying to sort out what looks like two Albert Higgins both born about 1868 in Marlow, Bucks. I am at the point of needing help please?
One married Eliza Wright in 1898 in Wycombe, with no trace of them in any further census!
The other (Albert Edward) married Jessie Louisa Norsworthy in1892 in Eton, and is shown in the 1901 and 1911 census' with children Albert, Mervin and Ellen.
It seems there are two Albert Higgins born in Marlow , Bucks around the same time.
I would have thought the one marrying in Wycombe would be the right one, but there is no trace after marriage. Did Albert and Eliza go overseas? With frustratingly rechecking everything have I missed something?
(Mary Ann Higgins1854 married my great grandfather Thomas Meads1862 in 1889 and I am trying to find any ancestors who died in Tasmania, Australia in the 1930's), currently checking Higgins.
