Thanks. Joseph George Page was not married prior to death but his girlfriend was pregnant and they planned to marry on his return. We do not know the girlfriend's name so I think the chances of finding information are very slim.

Unless you have her name then it's a dead end I think as he wont be named on the child's birth cert ,

Have you tried following up any if his family , descendents may be aware of his story and a name for his girlfriend
