I'm looking for the parents of Thomas David Harris, born 20 Mar 1819, Kent, UK.
He married Elizabeth Baker of Middlesex in 1847 in Adelaide S.Australia
I t is quite likely he had an elder brother Edward.
Both arrived in Australia in 1838.
Whereas his story is well documented in Australia, his early life in Kent, and his family are hard to track. I have seen his father listed as David Harris (1779 - 1863)
but this is most likely incorrect.
Any help would be most appreciated.
