Interestingly, issues around parentage have now come to light for the two youngest sons, one of which is my grandad (Joseph). Additionally, Annie's first son, James, was a result of an earlier liaison before meeting William. Interesting lady! Claire

Member Since: March 2010 Posts: 5 Send Message	Could anyone help me find out what happened to my great grandfather, William Stalker. Born 1860, Penrith, Cumberland. Married Annie Middleton. His youngest son was born 1899 (so William was most likely (?) around prior to this). The 1901 Census lists Annie as the head of the household raising several children on her own. I cannot find out anything relating to what happened to William. My dad knows nothing about him and he was never mentioned. I hope someone can shed light on the mystery. Many thanks Claire
