Hello

Apologies for the volume of posts, going through the final stages of research

My ancestor William Watkins, according to the 1851 census was born in 1800 Neath. He had three children Lucy born 1828, Catherine born 1826 and William, born 1835.

He married Ann Abraham in Merthyr Tydfil in 1833.

He can be later seen in the 1861, 1871 and 1881 census living in Merthyr Tydfil with his daughter Catherine, whom was married to Davies.

William was a tanner and his wife Ann died between 1851 and 1861, though I do not know when.

I was wondering if someone could help me find information on his parents or siblings. I cannot seem to find his baptism record despite knowing his birth year and location of birth.

There is a William Watkin baptised in 1801 in Neath, however this is not him. He was born in Cadoxton Juxta Neath

I appreciate the assistance <3
