The only ones on FreeBMD are for Joseph W.D. Wakenshaw, birth 1923 and marriage 1946. |

Thankyou for replying, the surname is rare for this area , my mothers maiden name is wakenshaw and all the others in poole dorset are related to us but dont know where this joseph fits in the puzzle as alot of names relating to wakenshaw somewhat hidden skeletons in the closet are now coming out. There are no Wakenshaws on the 1911 census in Dorset. Plenty up north, Durham & Northumberland. |

Thats where they all came from took part in the jarrow march then moved to poole dorset and stayed thanks again for your help .Anne |

As far as I can tell the first Poole reg for a Wakenshaw was for a marriage, Norman Wakenshaw but he was probaly born South Shields 1904? |
