Find Ancestors

Looking for Help again, i have found most of the Leather Family, just need to find my Great Uncle John Leather, he was born about 1887, i think in Manchester. His Parents were Joseph Leather born 1842 in Northwich and Mary Ann Leather born in Toxteth Liverpool. My Gt Granddad Joseph hung Himself and John was sent to the Swinton Industrial School ( Workhouse ). I would like to know what happened to him, he was a half brother to my granddad James Leather. Look forward to hearing anything on John.

Thank you Maddie, i am trying to find out what happened to him after his father hung himself. I think i know that he was sent to Swinton Industrial School which is the workhouse. so i assume that would have been in 1898, but where is he when he leaves the Workhouse ? thanks for your help.

Very much appreciated Maddie, what a sad end, he died so young, if only we could go back in time, i wonder why my gran and granddad did not take him in ? my mother Lillian Leather was born one year after his death, and he also had family in Northwich and a older brother in Swansea, thank you.
