Can anyone give me any info about my dad's grandad, PATRICK CORRIGAN born 1848 in Ireland (Athboy C.o. Meath?
Married Ann Brown (Irish) then family settled in Bolton Halliwell)
Had a brother Michael who might have come with him.
Would be krrn to find whether I have the correct place in Ireland or anything at all about the family.
Thank you
Sue Taylor

Well as Susan only has 7 posts in the 9 years of membership, perhaps it was a mistake.

Will leave this now.

Thank you for all of your replies. They were of use and not a waste of time. The reason I have had so few replies is that I have only recently re-re-joined after a prolonged break. Previously, I was tracing my mum's Bentham line ( as are most other people it seems)
My dad has since died, and he knew so little about his family that I decided to research the Williams and the Crrigans.Although there seems to be some confusion about dates and places I thank you for your help.
Sue :-)
