I know that Joseph Newman was born in 1899 in Birmingham, he married a Florence Abrahams . It possible that his parents might be Irish descent. I have asked my dad for information ,he really doesn't know much due to him being only 7 when he died. I believed he was in the army. He died in 1941.my dad seems to think some relatives had the name spencer. Need to find out more about Joseph parents and grandparents. Thank you. :-D

So according to that tree he had 21 children. Wonder when he managed to find time to work!

That tree is the same one that Maddie has posted from with John Joseph married to Hannah and Mary Ann Hall. It also has him having a child in 1887 with an unknown spouse.

So were both Hannah's husband and her father bigamists? Rather unlikely I would think. I would research myself rather than believe much from that tree.

He, must have preferred George- he and his brother James are on the absent voters list (listed at his parents house- 4 court 13 Newtown Row). This shows their regiment numbers.

In 1918 he is serving in the 3rd Royal Warwickshire Regiment, but by 1919 he has been transferred to a different Regiment.

His brother James served with the 14th Royal Warwickshire Regiment.
