There is a Jane Bunster aged 25 in 1841 living in Penryn but it seems to be her maiden name as it shows her father John as a Saddler.

The baptisms are shown on Familysearch, it states the images are available to view at one of their Family History Centres. Might be worth considering if no joy elsewhere.

Have you found Christopher, John or Jane in the 1841 or 1851 census?

vespasian Report 5 Oct 2014 15:41

Christopher Bunster was a seaman born in East Stonehouse, Devon in 1780 (according to information received). He had two sons Thomas born in 1811 and John born in 1818, both in Stoke Damerel .
In 1861 John was living in Stoke Damerel and next to him, or apart at the same address was a Jane Bunster aged 78 described as a seamans widow.
I am trying to find out, for a family friend, is Jane the widow of Christopher if so when did they marry ,what was her maiden name and when did he die.

Any help would be gratefully received
