Thanks Detective.. When I went to Gateshead council for help and guidance they said that which at the time I hadn't thought of.. With William Dixon I would assume this was the case as he was only 35 and left his wife and 3 young children.. |

Hope you can find where William Dixon was buried........please do bear in mind that not every family could afford a headstone! |

Hi all.. I have just got back from Newcastle looking for where my relatives are buried. My great grandfather William Dixon died in 1920 and his service was held at St Thomas's church at Eighton Banks, Galloping Green Road (u gotta luv that name). I couldn't find him in the church yard but so many of the grave stones had fallen over and you couldn't read the names. |
