Thank you Cynthia, for alerting me, and to each and every one of you who have taken the time to investigate and come up with the above information. I am really grateful. I will be going over all of these facts and seeing how they tie in with existing information.

Meantime, I am so hoping that something will come to light which will help me to link up with my Lucy ancestors and relatives. At the moment it appears to be a bit of a dead end, but I will keep searching.

I am searching for information about my maternal grandfather Howard William LUCY who married my grandmother (Eileen Maude Hasselbrook) 06 Sept 1902 in Calcutta, India. I can only find very basic information through the India Marriage records, ie his father's name was Henry Lucy, and despite intensive searching have found nothing else beyond this. I would be so pleased if anyone can offer information or help.
