Albert Richard Smith in ROAC 1921?

I have my great Grandfather Albert Richard Smith on 1921 electoral register for Weymouth, Dorset.

After his name it states - 'Pte ROAC 7575375'.

I take this to mean he was a Private in the Royal Ordnance Army Corp, and his service no. Would this be correct?

Also, where are records of the ROAC ? I presume they are at NA at Kew?

Any help most welcome.

Thanks,

Marcus

It may help your quest to know that it's actually RAOC

Info about purchasing copies of records post-1920 is at
