Thank you for all your help Cynthia, Shirley and AnnCardiff. Unfortunately there are no other trees on this site which match (except for one my wife, Tracy has put on). But all the families that you have found are the right one.
I know on Ancestry there is a member called Pettit Irchester who has a tree with Florrie in, but unfortunately having paid for pay-as-you-go, the site still won't let me contact her.
As the family have drifted apart contacting surviving family members through other means could prove a little awkward.

Sometimes a tree on ancestry will have photos .have you looked to see if she is in anyones tree on there

I am trying to find information on Florrie Cunnington who was born in 1902 in County Durham. She married a Mr Burton and she died in 1947 in County Durham. I would particularly love to see a photo of her to show to her daughter who has never seen a picture of her mother.
I really hope someone out there can help.
