please do not "tick" any further responses .............

....... the "tick" shows that your request has been fully answered, and it has not.

This leads to other members not bothering to open the thread.

Unfortunately, a quirk in GR's system means tat you cannot untick a ticked thread.

To get 'useful' replies on here, you need to give details of what you're looking for

So far, you haven't supplied any dates or first names

Dear all. Thanks for input.
- I have searched all family trees in GR and have issued responses in some cases
- I have searched all the family trees in Ancestry but this did not help because either they did not add to my existing knowledge or they were full of mistakes
- Rootsweb is focused on the USA
- I have checked the BMD registers held by the Forest of Dean FHS, Glos Records Office and the Society of Genealogists.
Hopefully I will receive some useful replies. John L

To find out if anyone else on here is researching these names, look in 'search all member trees'

Alternatively, give some forenames and dates, and an idea of what you're stuck with, and people will try to help

Have you put your tree on here, so that anyone connected can contact you if they see a possible link?

My ancestors came from the parishes of Dymock, Pauntley, Newent, Oxenhall, Tibberton, Churcham etc in Glos and I have developed my tree but there are threads that I need to complete. Has anyone else done any work in this area? John Loveridge
