I believe your Great Grandfather John Gregory was the brother of my Great Grandmother Julia Gregory b.1867.
Following my recent retirement I have restarted looking into my family tree.
I visited Yeovil about 30 years ago & met 2 daughters of John's brother William Gregory. They provided me with a lot of information about thye family & some copies of photographs.

Looking for information on my Gt Grandfather John Gregory.
He married Minnie Victoria Florence White in 1901 in Woolwich.
Address given 16 Warwick Street age: 28. Profession Painter.
Father: John Gregory (decd) Profession Leather Dresser.
Minnie White age 19. Address 15 Warwick Street.
On the 1901 census I cannot see his name at no16 or no 15.
They had a daughter Minnie born 1902.
On the 1911 census it states Minnie Gregory is now a widow and that marriage lasted 10 years.
I do not know where John Gregory was born and cannot find a death for him.
