Trying to trace a Kenneth James Jones, son of Idwal Jones. Born 1930's

Father died in 1979 in Northwood Middelsex and the son is shown on the death certificate

Do you have an address for him on the death cert Michael? No need to put on here.
Also might help a little to find his birth, also any siblings, so do you know who Idwal married?

Yes I do have an address. The problem is that Idwal being such a common Welsh name has not helped. I have not been able to find a marriage for Idwal as he was born in Beaumaris so the marriage could either been in Wales or England where he died. Furthermore, he worked for a railway company so it may have been anywhere in the country! I think that it may be worth seeing if there is a will which may start the ball rolling

I see the problem. There's loads of records for idwal Jones. And births Kenneth J Jones all over the areas

The only thing I can suggest is the electoral rolls at the local main library for the sons address at the time

I agree with Shirley. If you check the electoral register, with luck you will find someone else living with Kenneth - likewise Idwal's address if there is one. This might lead to a marriage.
I would also try an address search on Friends Reunited, you never know!
