Margee- that death's already been discounted above; Wrong DOB

There's a tree on Ancestry, belonging to a Rich Vigus, which says Alice died in 1968. It cites a "letter from Rosemarie Castle on 6th May 1983." But you can't view the letter online - you'd have to contact the tree owner to enquire about it.

It also says her second marriage was to E Evans, but doesn't provide any proof of this.

I did obtain a death cert for a Frederick Charles Dennis but the birthplace was Sussex, England- my Frederick is Cornwall. Any ideas how I could check this item you've found? Thankyou for your help and any further!

I've hit a bit of a brick wall in my research and wonder if anyone could help?

Frederick Charles Dennis Born 09/12/1875 Millbrook, Cornwall UK (I have copy of Birth Cert)
Married Alice Maud Vigus 31/10/1903 Devonport, Devon (I have copy of Marriage Cert)
I know they emigrated to Canada and have found them on the 1906, 1916 Canada Census, I also know of 2 children (Frederick John Dennis-Born 1904 May & Bertha Muriel Dennis-Born May 9th 1912).

Then the trail goes cold. I managed to obtain a copy of the birth record for Bertha via Vitial Statistics, Manitoba but can't find it listed under any birth records??

I'm told through family that Alice re-married 'someone' by the name of Evans, but I can't locate a death record or obtains the certificate and I certainly don't know the location of the death or even the location of this 2nd marriage or even if Evans is the correct name.

I was told previously there may have been a local history book that pictured a young Bertha but I've never been able to prove these as true, there was also reference to Frederick going under the name Frank.
Appreciate any help!
