Not sure you can do this Shelley - best thing I can think of is to see who is living there 1881/91 to see if there is any kind of connection.
Are you sure it says Emma St? Can't see it 1881.

The London ERs are just that - London. As you've pointed out, West Ham is/was in Essex.

How about visiting the Archives? They might have trade directories for that year
