Married in 1949 to....

Gladys M L Masters born 13/01/1917 Southampton, Hampshire

David and Gladys appear on an outward passenger list....Departure 10th Aug 1956
Destination.......Montreal, Canada.

Any further information about them would be much appreciated.

TRIM, David Lloyd - Passed away in Toronto on Monday, March 31, 2014 at the age of 92. Predeceased by his wife Gladys Mary Lillian.

I will take a look at that......I missed it earlier.

Kinda sad that he was still alive ealier this year!

There is no mention of any children.

David's partner's granddaughter (in his obituary) has a rather distinctive name

She and David both appear on this page -- with a wonderful picture of David :-)

and google fu ... searched for the 'granddaughter's' name from the obituary Gritty posted and found it at a Toronto site ... and pure luck that the picture of David was on that page and that his name caught my eye as I scrolled down the page


look on that church page under 'For those who are sick' ...
