I do Rootgatherer, and have had a look :-)

There are only 3 pages so will download them and send them to GreatArtuin - have to say there's not a lot of info on them, but probably still good to have.

ADDED: Pages sent by pm

In Leicestershire. His wife Phoebe(nee Wheatley) in Ratby, Leicestershire. I did for a while believe they had connections in Ireland as Elizabeths son was born at sea returning from Ireland. I think that may be connected with her mothers family (Ward) but not the Peggs as far as I can see. :-(

During recent research of the Leicestershire Pegg family I have found that their daughter Elizabeth (christened in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1808) was their 3rd child. I have been trying to find out why Elizabeth was christened in the north (as a soldier's child) as the Pegg's came from Leicestershire.

Another researcher has suggested that Joseph may have been 'posted' there as a soldier during the Napoleonic wars.

The big question is how do I find out about Joseph's service?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
