I am trying to find my grand mother Margaret Hogg nee Mellis born 1897. Married Alexander Hogg born 1893. Married 1917. In Scotland, Alexanders father was called Thomas his mother Mary nee cockburn. I cant find any trace of Margaret after she gave birth to Martha in 1921. She gave birth to my mother in 1914 but left her with her mother and went on to marry Alexander and have 2 more children. Can you help with this nagging problem regards Amelia

I am looking for my grandmother Margaret Duncan McKay Mellis was her maiden name married Alexander Hogg in Edinburgh Scotland 25th Dec, 1917. No trace of her or her husband in Scottish Records, it is thought they may have emigrated. Margaret born 1897 Alexander born 1893.

You say,
Passenger lists dont seem to include child born 1921.

I assume this is Martha?
Do you mean you have found the other members of the family on passenger lists?
If so, can you post them here, please?
