Hello does anyone know anything about this family. Elisa was in bishops castle workhouse aged 3 on the 1881census. I cannot trace any family or the reason for her being there. |

I wonder if she is connected to this, possibly born to Eliza before she married? Clun covers Bishops Castle |

Thanks everyone for your replies, I am new to this and not sure what I'm doing. The little information I do have about Eliza was supplied by the other GR user who has been researching the family, and is that she was born in Bishops Castle in 1868 and was in the workhouse in the 1871 census aged 3,, I have seen a copy of this and she is the only Lello on it. On the 1881 census she was listed as being a General Servant working for Richard Adams a farmer at Lower Grasvenor, Wentnor Shrops. She then married Arthur Corfield around 1889 and they lived in Kerry Montgomeryshire. They had 3 children, William (my grandfather) Alfred and Annie. I have come across her surname spelt Lello or Lellow. Any more information would be appreciated. |
