This has now turned into a real puzzle

Matthew Issott and Mary Cravens marriage in 7 October 1841 states that he was a widow
1841 Census says Mary was born in 1801 (I know about the rounding to the nearest 5 years) but in the 1851 Census it states she was born in 1816.

Anyone any ideas I am really in a mess.

So it seems that the Mary on the 41 census died later in 1841 and then he married Mary Craven. So it's the first Mary that we're looking for.

I have now found Mary Craven 1816 on the 1841 Census living with her parents in Bottom Boat Wakefield (From the marriage cert her father was Thomas) and on the next page is Matthew Issott (Jasott) with his wife Mary born about 1801

So now I know that I am looking for another Mary. He certainly got marriage very quickly
