It certainly looks as thought the 1828 William Spellar/ Elizabeth Wright marriage is correct and this looks to be the correct birth for their son Frederick:

Frederick Speller
Registration Year: 1839
Registration Quarter: Jul-Aug-Sep
Registration district: Billericay
Inferred County: Essex
Volume: 12
Page: 8

Ordering this will confirm Elizabeth's maiden name.

Which birth cert for James did you order? This could be the correct one misspelled:
James Spiller
Registration Year: 1843
Registration Quarter: Jul-Aug-Sep
Registration district: Billericay
Inferred County: Essex
Volume: 12
Page: 11

Thank you everyone for helping me in my research for the Speller, family, have now discovered that William was married to Elizabeth Wright, so you were correct sorry I dismissed your advice, have now got a lovely tree and have actually been to Great Burstead, but all old graves have been set aside, Thank you again and apologies for not getting back sooner, afraid life gets in the way of family history sometimes.
