now these four children have put down they were born in france can anyone find when they went to france or when they came back

elizabeth was born in nottingham in about 1836 she was married to william widdowson who died before the 1881 census

would they have not been in france in the 1871 if those children were born there

There doesn't appear to be a birth registration to fit Robert 1867 unless really misspelt. There is an 1867 Robert but Basford RD and he appears to be on the 1871 in Codnor and Lascoe, Derbys which would be Basford RD

According to 1911 census, Lindley was born specifically in St Anne, Nottinghamshire - and Notts consistently in other censuses.
