Hampshire Advertiser - 4th October 1884

On the 5th September at the New Somerset Hospital, Cape Town, of paralysis Henry Dunning Beckford Harvey, eldest and only surviving son of the late Capt. Harvey, of the SS Normandy, L & SW Steampacket Company, in his 36th year.

his poor mother lost her husband at sea then her eldest son and now Henry. Left with 4 daughters to raise.

On the 17th Inst, at sea, Captain Henry Beckford Harvey, of the ill fated steamship Normandy, son of the late Captain Henry Dunning Harvey, of Weymouth, aged 55.
