Kim, the treeowner referred to above is an active member on Ancestry - last logged on a couple of days ago. If you are a descendant of this family and want to try to establish contact with him but don't have an ancestry subscription if you PM me your e-mail address I'll send him a message.

Someone who appears to be the great grandson of Mary Hayhoe has a tree on ancestry. He has her birth 3/2/1871, marriage 26/7/11 to Thomas James Hayman, and her death 22/2/1924. Shows she had a son (tree owners grandfather) Charles Leonard Hayhoe (27/5/1893 - 26/5/1963), with no father shown.

They appear to have had one child, Reginald James Hayman, born 18/5/1913 and died 1969, but no more info on him.

It claims Thomas James Hayman was born 29/9/1878 Dartmouth, married Kate Dixie 1/6/1925, and he died 18/11/1952. It has no other info on Kate.

There are no certificates attached to the tree, but to have the exact dates I would hope the owner would have backup details, but all this would need to be checked out.

It also has Thomas's parents as William Hayman and Caroline Prowse.

The name isn't unique, so you are quite likely to find references to other people with the same name, and similar birth year(s)

have found ernest hayman on census, 1891, he with an uncle aged 13 in newton abbot. next census he aged 23 and in torquay an agrigcultural labourer.
the next census he appears to be in london wandswoth with wife amelia kate and son stanley john hayman. wifes maiden name purnell.
my ernest was born in 1878 died 1952 but i thought he only married once in 1911 in colchester to mary hayhoe.
the census says marriage 1905 to amelia?
