I am trying to trace my nans siblings Joseph Charles, and I think a sister who on the 1911 census looks like Alice or Alace Broomfield. Their Father was Edward Broomfield and mother was Margaret Jones. they lived in Southwark, London. I believe Joseph was born in Holborn in 1896 and after this census I can find no other records either marriage, war or death. There was also a Walter. I have managed to trace the direct line back to 1720 but for some reason I am stuck on these more recent ones! I would be most grateful for any help/tips. There is a family rumour that a sister moved to Scotland. Margaret is another sister whose historyI am aware of so it cannot be her and my nans name was Agnes. |
