I am looking for the parents of Lilian Harris. I have limited information as she died whilst my grandma was young, my grandma seems to remember Lilian's father being called John and mother Annie/Ann. Information I have is below...

Son/Step-Son (need to confirm with my grandma if sons are Lilian's or Alfred's)

Elizabeth - died of heat attack Canada before Lilian died

If anyone could shed any light I would be grateful, as this is the last strand of my family tree and my grandma has no idea of her past and would love to find out.

Why do you not apply for the marriage certificate of Lilian and Alfred for her Father's name?

Where was Lilian born ?

Have been looking for a marriage between Lilian Harris and Alfred David Roberts and cannot find one, I was thinking they may not have married as my grandma has half brothers David/Donald who were older than herself??

We believe Lilian was born Liverpool but not 100% There is a link to Wales apparently but cannot confirm this as my grandma sister Lilian died a few years back and she was the one who mentioned this.

Hi patchem.

My grandma had half brothers Donald (presumed dead) and David (died young). I have been able to trace Alfred Davids side and dont believe he previously married so i presume they are Lillian's Sons, so a previous marriage for Lillian could be a possibility.

How old was Lilian when she died?

My Grandma's say's young, she is not certain as she was 13 at the time, 1949 is certain YoD. All family records got destroyed in Liverpool Blitz in what Alfred Roberts died. She also strongly believe's Lilian's dad was John Harris and mother Annie/Ann.
