also in family of Nellie Dinsdale and Robert R Ostler, there were what I take as twins, John Ramsdell Ostler born 1934 and Richard D Ostler also 1934. I think Richard married Ailsa Booth in 1956, and think I may have found 1 child, Nigel R Ostler. Looks like Nigel may have married twice, but I only find 1 child Robert William Ostler born 1999 by his 2nd marriage to Janet M Harris (wed 1996)
John Ramsdell Ostler married Patricia Leonard in 1961 and I think I have found 2 children, Jane Elizabeth Ostler born 1966 I think wed Simon Garrett in 2001. Also Catherine Emma Ostler born 1968 wed Albert N Read in 2003, with possibly 2 children, Clementine Margaret Read in 2003 and Nathaniel John B Read in 2005. Again my problem is that although I THINK this appears right, I have no way of proving it.

Thank you for all that. It's the same info I have found myself. I maybe should have been clearer, I know Nellie Dinsdale married Robert Ramsdell Ostler in 1925. There was a daughter Barbara N Ostler married Wilfred D Bland in 1956, and I think they possibly had Stella F Bland I think married Michael Butler in 2001. Also possibly Arthur D Bland born 1959. However I'm in the north of Scotland and I'm just using Ancestry entering a surname and mothers maiden name in order to find family, which does leve room for error as I can't view certificates to show the parents full names. Nellie had a son Robert G B Ostler I think married twice. The first Barbara Cripps led to 3 possible children. Again found the same way. Nicolas, Belinda M E Ostler, born 1965, I think married Richard J Moore, and Jessica Ridley Ostler born 1967 Of then I think I may have found 3 children to Belinda, 2 of which would appear twins.

Angela woods married in 1961 staincliffe which ties with the death posted for Richard k woods

I'm checking my husbands family history and his grandfather's brother, James Heseltine Dinsdale married Ellen ( Nellie ) Ridley in Skipton, Yorkshire in 1897. He died in South Africa in 1901 leaving his wife with 3 children. I am trying to trace descendants of these 3 children. Alice Born 1898 married John Dixon, and to my knowledge had no children. Nellie married Robert Ramsdell Ostler in 1925, and Lilian Ridley Dinsdale wed Richard Kirkham Woods in in 1934. This far I have checked and can confirm. After finding a photo with Nellie and Lilian and 5 teenage children, I have been researching and believe I have found 4 children to Nellie and Robert Ostler and 2 to Lilian. As children of these families will still be alive does anyone know how I could go about making contact with them? Also how I can check my research is actually correct.
