I am trying to discover the surname of a WILLIAM PARKER born c1790 Bristol Gloucestershire who married HARRIET (surname unknown) born c1796 at St Werburgh Derby Derbyshire. They are present in the 1841 and 1851 census and had numerous children in Derby but, I am unable to find their marriage. |

Thanks for the details of the above marriage in 1829. In the 1841 and 1851 census returns they have a son who was born (Edwin) c1823 St Werburg Derby. This leads me to 2 thoughts. |

Edwin could also have been Harriet's child ................ that marriage does say she was a widow! |

As harriet who married 1829 was a widow, it's entirely possible that the man she married was also in that situation |

According to LSD plus the 1841 and 1851 census returns - I have identified that it is possible that William and Harriet had the following 12 children: |

As William didn't marry Harriet till 1829 maybe Williams first wife was also a Harriet |
